Northstar Equestrian
The Northstar Equestrian Program was created in September of 2009 for students looking to learn all about the horse, from hoof to tail. Each week, broken into two sessions, the students learn equine health and care, riding technique and equine management. This year, our program has expanded to include beginner and advanced classes. Our students range in age from 9 yrs to 18 yrs of age.
Travis' passion for teaching "balanced horsemanship" is contagious and his attention to safety is paramount. Each student is cared for as his own as he gives them the skills to bridge the gap between horse and rider.
Philosophy:
- Every equestrian is responsible, accountable and respectful to self, horse and others
- Every equestrian tries his/her best
